Please donate to the Performance art resource orchestrator event
We are having International Performance Art event in Singapore from 7-9 July 2017.
We will have total 21 performance art with 10 international artists.
However, we haven't found any founding to this event. We need money to host international artists and local performances. We have tried everything we could think of to source the sponsor but it was not successful. We believe this event is very important to keep the international performance art platform in Singapore for the active sharing and future growth in the community.

What is performance art?
Performance art is a performance presented to an audience within a fine art context, traditionally interdisciplinary. Performance may be either scripted or unscripted, random or carefully orchestrated; spontaneous or otherwise carefully planned with or without audience participation. The performance can be live or via media; the performer can be present or absent. It can be any situation that involves four basic elements: time, space, the performer's body, or presence in a medium, and a relationship between performer and audience. Performance art can happen anywhere, in any type of venue or setting and for any length of time. The actions of an individual or a group at a particular place and in a particular time constitute the work.
Why is it important to have International performance art event in Singapore?
The tangible output of our international performance art event is expected to be an expanded and truly wide variety of performances, performers, and audiences. Our platform will connect artists across the world and accelerate sharing of concepts and themes without country borders. Art is for everyone. Anyone can be an artist when one decides to be an artist. The most important thing about ‘performance art’ is sharing. Performance artists need to share constantly because it is always changing. One cannot be fixed to the same idea ‘what is performance art’. This would mute the fire of the art.
As ‘performance art’ is a live art, it is difficult to understand one’s performance without being present in the scene. It is critical to have more sharing and exchange among performance artists across the countries.

What do we want from this event
Our project will focus on active participation and interaction between audience and performers to broaden the appeal of performance art. Our project plans to showcase cooperation and harmony to bring Singapore community together. Engage local communities using Performance Art as a unifying canvas. We aim to achieve a wider recognition of art in the general public and harmony to bring us together. Engage local communities using Performance Art as a unifying canvas. Our current financial situation
We have no founding from Government or institution. The organiser is planning to use the saving. We hope this event can have continuity with more sponserships for the growth of the art in Singapore.
