Born in Kyoto and raised in Sapporo. Graduated from Osaka University, Graduate School of Letters, Art Media Theory Course. During her studies, she conducted research on performance art practices in India. Particularly interested in the background and driving forces behind many performances in public spaces, she conducted interviews with artists and performance art festivals in Delhi and Kolkata. After working as a project assistant in the Artists Division of precog Inc. and as an arts coordinator at Kyoto Art Center, she has been in her current position since 2024. He has been involved in the planning and production of performing arts productions and events, as well as the planning, screening, and coordination of artist-in-residence (AIR) programs. Major projects include the 156th Meilin Tea Ceremony “e-nodate” (2024 Kyoto Art Center), KAC Performing Arts Program Daichi Yamamoto “watch your step” (2024 Kyoto Art Center), and the Taipei ACAC operates an open call for AIRs, collaborates with AIR organizations in overseas locations, and organizes AIR exchange programs with Taipei Performing Arts Center (2022-2023, Kyoto Art Center), “Shiki Geography x Irina Grigore” (2025, International Art Center Aomori), etc. At ACAC, she is in charge of the management of publicly solicited AIR programs, collaborative programs with AIR organizations in overseas locations, and educational dissemination. After coming to Aomori, she started learning Latin dance.

Based in Ishinomaki, interdisciplinary artist Daisuke Takeya obtained an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. His praxis is comprised of the exploration of nature and plausibility in contemporary society, and hinges on all kinds of double meanings. Solo and group exhibitions included: Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, SVA Gallery (NYC), Wagner College Gallery (NYC), Kyoto Art Center, Fukushima Contemporary Art Biennale, Canon New Cosmos Exhibition, Yamagata Biennale, the Japan Foundation, Toronto, and the Prince Takamado Gallery at the Embassy of Canada in Japan. Daisuke is also the co-representative of Field Trip Project, and co-founder of Responding Performance Art Initiative, and one of DAIS Ishinomaki.

From painting she has gradually stepped into installations and performance art focusing on how what is beautiful from a masculine angle is perceived by females and other gender related issues as experienced by her as a female. She has been an art teacher since 2001, and since 2011. She is a member-artist of Theertha International Artists Collective and an active participant at Mullegama Art Center, the Woman’s Artist Colloquium Program at Theertha, and the Fire Flies Women Artists.

Ye studied in France receiving a Diplôme National Suprieur Expression Plastique from Ecole Nationale Supérieur d’Arts de Paris-Cergy and a Master’s degree in Art et Media Numérique from Paris 1 Sorbonne. Ye has often been involved in cross-disciplinary collaboration with artists. The forms of her works are mainly of performance arts, video installations, and sound performances, focusing on private and public spaces of bodies and public relations、 immigration issues. In recent years, she has focused on using performance and installation art to channel and transform the energies of the land, exploring the yin energy between people and place.

2013 Ye and French artist Alexis Mailles created instant 42 art space in New Taipei City, Taiwan; They considers constructing and managing the space as a form in creation. This space is a complex art space with 3 major functions: art exhibition, studio, and artist-in-residence.

Ye studied in France receiving a Diplôme National Suprieur Expression Plastique from Ecole Nationale Supérieur d’Arts de Paris-Cergy and a Master’s degree in Art et Media Numérique from Paris 1 Sorbonne. Ye has often been involved in cross-disciplinary collaboration with artists. The forms of her works are mainly of performance arts, video installations, and sound performances, focusing on private and public spaces of bodies and public relations、 immigration issues. In recent years, she has focused on using performance and installation art to channel and transform the energies of the land, exploring the yin energy between people and place.

2013 Ye and French artist Alexis Mailles created instant 42 art space in New Taipei City, Taiwan; They considers constructing and managing the space as a form in creation. This space is a complex art space with 3 major functions: art exhibition, studio, and artist-in-residence.
